The month of July brought a lot more fun:
Ladies night out at Wolftrap - we saw "She and Him". Such a fun night!!! Love these ladies so much.
Andrew has fully conquered the diving board! And now loooves to swim.
Blueberry picking at Butlers. This was one of my favorite (and hottest!!) days this Summer.
It was such a sweet morning together - jammin out to VBS music on the way, the tractor ride to the fields, helping each other fill our buckets.
And then cooling off at a friends pool on the way home!
Andrew enjoyed a morning with Dad at the Hirshorn.
This apparently looks VERY real.
The next week the older boys were off to camp!! Andrew was THRILLED to attend Calleva with his buddy Silas.
By his bus the first day - this camp was amazing. I've never seen him so excited about anything - kayaking, climbing, canoeing, horse back riding, exploring. Truly, a dream.
Caden enjoyed a week at 4th school camp, which sadly I have no pictures of - but he loved it! We do have this sweet pic of him cleaning up communion cups after Sunday evening service.
The Hopkins came to visit! Always one of our summer highlights.
With older brothers at camp, Will got to have a Friday morning outing with Daddy all by himself. They of course had to take in the Cabin John train. This boy is still ALL about trains.
hippo.
A fun evening hosting a pop-up party for my friend Christine, who has an amazing collection of vintage and designer clothing/accessories.
Caden's attempt at a mohawk.
Random basement fun - love these lazy summer play times.
Tuesday trip to the zoo! It was a gorgeous 80 degree day, no humidity. The seals were our favorite this time.
That afternoon proved to be a bit too cold at our friends pool. This is how they warmed up afterwards.
Honestly, I can't believe how FUN this summer has been in so many ways. This past week has brought more fighting, less overall tolerance for life not going the way they want it to. Just the right time for Grandma to come to town (for Caden's birthday), and then head out West for a few weeks. We'll then just have a week to settle in and get ready for school to start. WOW!
