To celebrate our 9th anniversary, we decided on a quick family get-away to one of our favorite towns on the Eastern Shore of Maryland - St. Michaels. A friend from our church has graciously offered many times to have us stay with him at his waterfront home, and this seemed to be the perfect time to take advantage. We enjoyed several boat rides, grabbing dinner at the scenic and infamous "Crab Claw", ice cream cones at an adorable shop, and a little down time on the beautiful screened in porch. Although we were extremely tired when we got home (Caden didn't sleep well), it was fun family time, and this Seattle girl loooved being by the water.

Thank you Mr. Lewis for extending such gracious love and care to these good folks - we love them so much, but just don't get to show it as often as liked, so it makes us so happy to see "others" doing just that..... All the best to you - always.. Grandpa Jack
