California Dreamin

We enjoyed a glorious week out in California, staying at the Seklemian home, taking in countless magnificent views (none better than their own balcony), 2 days at Disneyland, 2 sunsets at the beach, 2 trips to Inn n Out burger, a few date nights, and several wonderful museums.  Truly a trip that we will never forget.

Our first morning we took advantage of being up early, and headed out to take in the sights of Palos Verdes (where we were staying).  This was the view just down the hill from their home.  I have to note that the very first "Bachelor" house was just to our right.

Taking in La Venta ...
Location of Jen and WT's wedding reception.

I forget the name of this park, but a common whale watching location.

Will developed a "thing" for Jen.  He commonly wanted only her to take him out of his carseat, and on this particular day, he wanted only her to carry him :).

Walking toward the lighthouse - I couldn't get enough of the ocean air.
Taking it in.
Glass Church (amazing).  Apparently Marilyn Monroe was married here.

View from front steps of the Glass Church.

There were many fun trees to climb.
Lunch!

After naps, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jack met up with us (there were staying in Aneheim), and we all headed down the hill to Redondo beach.
We were foolish to think they wouldn't get very wet.
PV, and Jen's parents house on the hill behind them.

My dear friend and college roomie met up with us.  She and her sweet fam lived just a few blocks away.

You can't get away with this much longer buddy - soak it up.

Playing with Grandpa.
The scene - look at that wet boy.

 Beautiful sunset.
Wet, happy family.

Andrew was giddy to be with his Grandma Kathy.
Who needs pants when you have a juicebox?
Books before bed - the magical world of Disney was waiting for us in the morning.
