house of boys

Here is a bit of what's been happening around our house in pictures..

So how does this happen, one might ask?

You allow your 5 year old to feed the baby :). Caden needed my assistance in the bathroom upstairs, and Will was very hungry. Andrew did a GREAT job.

He also made his own sandwich that day. A few times lately he's asked to make his own, and it's actually very helpful. He even pulls everything out himself. My favorite was him sighing and saying at the end "Mom, that was A LOT of work".
Dave and I both got sick this week. He caught a stomach bug that was going around Caden's preschool (he co-oped Monday), and I had the typical head, throat, chest viral thing last weekend. Andrew made several "feed better" cards for me at church, but this was my favorite. He's not reading yet, but tries to spell out words based on how they sound.

A very sweet friend brought these beautiful flowers (and some ice cream treats) - what a perfect way to be loved.

I walked into our guest room a few days ago to find this. Apparently, there was an epic battle between man and beast during Andrew's rest time.

Our big boys have recently started wrestling on their own (instead of just with daddy), and enjoying it.

Playin leapsters on the stairs - Andrew is usually very nice about helping Caden. What this picture doesn't show is Will standing on the other side of (and shaking) a makeshift gate just a few stairs below ;). It won't be long bud, it won't be long.

On the move. He's now 15 months, and not officially walking on his own, but getting closer. He's still in PT two times a month. We're working on spending more of the day on his feet, so his legs get stronger. He's so much fun right now - he loves to laugh and play with people, loves to play with books and cars...and climb stairs, and play in the toilet when we forget to close needed doors.
