We ventured out to Homestead Farms last Thursday with dear friends to pick strawberries. Somehow it made summer's arrival feel official. It was such a fun morning - attempting to fill a basket while our boys inhaled the strawberries we'd picked, seeing some farm animals, eating a picnic lunch, and having "one last" adventure with Jen and Nathan before baby Abigail arrived (just this past Tuesday!). I had one funny moment watching my boys venture off together to check out a "big rig" parked in a field about 100 feet away - it reminded me so much of watching my brothers venture off together when I was little. It's so fun to see them becoming playmates as they get older (althought we're still working on how to figure out sharing, taking turns, appropriate rough play). Here are a few pictures!
